Taatsin Seita – Seida of Taatsi

Seida is a holy place of old Sami religion. The Taatsi Seida was known as a very famous and powerful Seida among Sami people in a large area of Lappland. Sami people sacrificed deer and reindeer bones and fish heads to Seida, latterly also coins.
