On top of the Nok Hills Are natural wonders like this which have been there since the beginning of time! The stones look like Yam Tubers.
The ancient indigenous inhabitants are said to visit this location at the beginning of every farming season to seek the favour of the gods for a bumper “Yam” harvest. This ritual still continues today.
Access roads to places of interest such as can be found throughout Ham Land are in dire need of maintenance both for the preservation of these natural heritage and the safety of visitors/tourists.
