The cedar (siberian) is the most respected and sacred tree for Komi people. Its extremely rare in my republic now becase of the massive deforestation, and hardly grows up. Generally speaking, the siberian cedar is a class of pine-tree, but looks absolutely different and it is. Rather often local authorities try to grow the cedar at the memory cemeteries or some important public places.
